From October 5 to 11, Mental Health Week is taking place (in honor of World Mental Health Day on October 10). The medical staff at the “Krasivo” sanatorium are joining the campaign and have prepared brochures, leaflets, talks, films, and seminars on the topic. Mental health is an important component of human health. The human body is largely under the control of the nervous system, so mental state affects the functioning of each of the functional systems. Mental health is the foundation of a person’s well‑being and the effective functioning of society. The main rules for maintaining a healthy body and mind:
• Sports and proper nutrition. A balanced diet and moderate physical activity are the key to strong blood vessels, a healthy nervous system, and a strong immune system.
• Deep sleep for at least 7-8 hours. Sleep promotes rapid recovery of the body and, consequently, greater resilience to stressful situations.
• A hobby or pastime that you enjoy. It has been repeatedly proven that engaging in a favorite activity causes the body to release the “joy hormone”.
• Interaction with interesting and positive people. A positive-minded person energizes those around them with good, high-quality energy, nourishing both themselves and others..
• The ability and opportunity to express oneself.
Take care of yourself and your mental health, because it depends only on you!
