World Patient Safety Day and Week of popularization of health centers (in honor of World Patient Safety Day on September 17th)

To improve patient safety, comprehensive solutions are needed within the healthcare system – a wide range of measures to improve the organization of activities, including the involvement of patients and caregivers to ensure safe medical care. In 2024 The theme chosen for World Patient Safety Day is "Improving diagnosis for patient safety", because correct and timely diagnosis is extremely important to protect patients and improve the outcome of the disease. Information about the World Patient Safety Day is posted on the website of the World Health Organization, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Roszdravnadzor in the relevant sections. The following events are planned as part of the World Patient Safety Day in the Russian Federation in 2024 - All-Russian competition "Quality Leader in Healthcare" Interactive survey of patients and medical professionals on current safety issues Currently, attention is being paid to Health Centers — these are medical and preventive departments that conduct rapid diagnostics and screening detection of pathologies in order to preserve and strengthen health.
