Week of prevention of drug use

The spread of drug use and drug addiction is one of the most serious problems of modern society. Drugs are substances that can affect the nervous system and cause a change in human consciousness. All drugs are involved in chemical processes occurring in the brain, change them and lead to the development of addiction – the need to constantly take a psychoactive substance.

Drug addiction is an irresistible attraction to a psychoactive substance. The main sign of the development of drug addiction: addiction to the drug, the need to increase the dose and frequency of intake, the appearance of physical dependence on the drug – the appearance of withdrawal syndrome, or "withdrawal", in the absence of another dose.

The doctors of the sanatorium "Beautifully" informed vacationers and staff about the "problem of the century" and prepared lectures, talks, popular science films, booklets and leaflets. The health workers of the sanatorium called for uniting in the fight against such a terrible phenomenon as drug addiction. The week of the fight against drug addiction reminds all mankind of this terrible disease. We urge EVERYONE to give up drugs and say a firm "NO".

All psychoactive substances are poisons, and due to the death of brain cells, the addict's thinking is disrupted, intelligence and memory are reduced. Take care of yourself! We wish you good health!
